The Negrel family began making wine in Mont Sainte-Victoire's shadow nearly 80 years before Paul Cezanne painted his ode to the mountain in 1890. In 2005, this eponymous 400-acre subregion of Côtes De Provence finally gained AOC status, with a side caveat that all 30+ winemakers farm organically. Therefore, Mas de Cadenet is certified organic Grenache (45%), Cinsault (45%), and Syrah grown on 110 family-owned acres. Expect a traditionally dry, pale, structured, elegant rosé with high acidity, sweet summer berries, and a savory herbal finish.
