This Classico Superiore Ripasso blend of primarily Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone, sourced from the best and oldest sites, starts as a regular Valpolicella that is "re-passed" over Amarone skins for a second fermentation. This process yields a lush, wintry, full-bodied wine. Notes of wood, spice, and burnt orange on this drier style of Ripasso with chewy tannins and balanced acids.
