Catherine & Pierre Breton are renowned for their biodynamic Vouvray and Bourgueil (boor-goy), which are characterized by their focus, precision, and all-natural methods. Nuits d’Ivresse (Drunken Nights) epitomizes that style in the form of Bourgueil, a wine that’s usually defined by density and heaviness. Crafted with 50-year-old-vine Cabernet Franc from 7.4 acres of clay/limestone soils, Nuits d’Ivresse is vinified for freshness and aged in barrels for a year before release. There are no sulfites added at any time during the winemaking process, so drink this elegant, dark berry, bright, earthy Cab Franc soon after opening.
