Sometimes, half bottles are dismissed as afterthoughts, but brothers Tommaso & Federico Marrocchesi Marzi are serious Chianti Classico producers, and the smaller size vessel just allows the wine to mature faster. With shades of ruby, garnet, and red velvet, 2022 Bibbiano delivers two big glasses of cherry, spice, sandalwood, rosemary, tar, and licorice over a medium-bodied frame and gritty tannins. Organic practices have been in place since the late 1980s. Stay in for supper, order a loaded pizza, and enjoy some Bibbiano. 14% ABV.
