The De Bartoli family began as, and remains, producers of fine Marsala -- not the stuff used for cooking, but the original old-school il perpetuum made for centuries until the rest of us discovered it. The traditional white grape for Marsala is Grillo, and that's what Marco and his kids Renato, Sebastiano, and Giusippina use in this dry white. Vignaverde is a "green vine" wine, so it's spontaneously fermented and steel-vinified for freshness. Enjoy all the youthful notes in this medium-bodied wine with bright acidity, citrus, green fruit, and minerals.
