Established in 1910, Lini is a family-owned winery that crafts the famous Emilian sparkling wine they call “Labrusca,” a nod to the ancient Roman name for all Lambrusco grapes. Their Rosso is made with Salamino (85%) and Ancellotta, which macerate on the skins for 10-15 days, yielding a juicy-berry yet dry character with a good dose of complexity from lees-aging. Although Lambrusco might seem a bit niche, this mineral-rich, fizzy red pairs well with Italian, Latin, and BBQ dishes. Vegan.
