Mammen is becoming more interesting over time. It's worth noting that Rieslings age amazingly well: as the sugar and acids increase, so does aging ability. It would be wonderful to taste this AP-24 in 2032, but who has that kind of patience? Drink it now or over the next several years to enjoy the maturing secondary flavors over candy apples and poached pears. We think this is a classic Schnitzel spätlese to be served alongside mashed potatoes and cabbage. Also works with a delicate gnocchi, butter, herb, and cheese dish. Off-Dry at 7.5% ABV.
