Perhaps it is a surprise that Pinot Noir (aka Spätburgunder) is the most planted red grape in Germany and also accounts for some increasingly lovely pink wines. Florian Fauth is blessed with limestone-rich soils located south of Frankfurt, which produce crisp, sprightly, mineral-laden, very pale Pinot Noir with hints of raspberry, cherry, green melon, minerals, and a tiny hint of allspice. The Seehof Rosé flew off the shelves last year, so get some while it's here. 11.5% ABV. We also carry their amazing off-dry Seehof Riesling.
