Although common in northern Piedmont, this type of blend is still rare here at home. Noah is 60% Nebbiolo, 20% Vespolina, 15% Croatina, and 5% Uva Rara, from 40-to-45-year-old vines grown in Coste della Sesia (near Gattinara and Ghemme). After one year in large oak casks, Noah expresses airy yet earthy, minerally, dark fruit with a touch of volcanic smoke and bright acids. Easy to pair alongside soups, pasta, sandwiches, and meats.
