Müller-Ruprecht produces wine in the Pfälzer village of Kallstadt, approximately 20 km west of Heidelberg. This is where Philipp & Sabine Wöhrwag make some really cool chemical-free wines like a Dornfelder Pet-Nat, Rosé of Frühburgunder (a cousin of Pinot Noir), Lemberger & Cab red, Rieslings, and this fun blend of skin-contact Huxelrebe, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay. It's called Orange, but it's more like an all-natural, cloudy, unfiltered white wine the color of fresh lemonade. Notes of crisp citrus, stone fruit, and aromatics with a touch of fizz. Dry on the palate and just. 11% abv. Excellent as an aperitif or with light fare. Don't serve too cold!
