Martha Stoumen started her winery in 2014; her fruit is sourced from a handful of organic dry farmers, and then she does her magic in a facility shared with natural wine pioneer, Pax Mahle. Stoumen's wines are also handmade, low-intervention, native yeast, vegan, and low-sulfite. Post Flirtation Red is a multi-county blend of 55% Zinfandel, 34% Pinot Noir, 8% Carignan, 3% Petite Sirah, fermented separately and aged in both steel and neutral oak for 6 months. Get ready to adjust your perception of Zin, because this blend is light and bright with notes of pomegranate, watermelon, hibiscus, sage, and minerals. 12.5% ABV. A good measure of whole-cluster fruit adds tannins and structure. Serve chilled with your choice of tacos.
