The Plouzeau family has owned and operated Castle/Domaine Bonnelière since 1976. Marc has taken over for his father and currently oversees organic farming on nearly 80 acres of the Left Bank of Chinon, where Cabernet Franc reigns supreme. Much of it ends up in earthy, concentrated Chinon Rouge, which we also carry, but Plouzeau's dry rosé is the perfect way to enjoy Cabernet Franc in the summer with its balanced profile of savory, high-acid, bramble berry-spiked flavors on a medium-bodied frame.
