What a funny name Bob Singlar is for a wine. It doesn't tell you anything, but that's how Domaine de la Mongestine decided to make wine outside of the AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence regulations. Bob Rouge is a wild biodynamic blend of Grenache, Pinot, Syrah, Marselan, Merlot, and Roussanne, lightly macerated and fermented with native yeast in concrete. The gorgeous color is somewhere between rose, amber, and brick, and the flavor is just as enticing with raspberry, cherry, spice, and currants. Bob Singlar is another light red for easy easy drinking and not critiquing. Once it hits the palate, you will want more wine and something to munch on, like anything with a Provencal twist. No fining, no filtration, low sulfites. Give it a chill.
