This is our third entry from Claus Preisinger's "Libre" line of wild, unfiltered, "Gekühlt Servieren" (serve chilled) wines from Burgenland in eastern Austria. Rozsa is a blend of 80% Zweigelt and 20% St. Laurent, vinified into a gorgeous guava color with notes of blackberry, cranberry, and sourness evocative of Basque cider. Rozsa is the Rosé to serve freezing cold on the hottest summer day, and, at just 11.5% ABV, we like this as a midday apertif before lunch or a light quaff with pre-dinner appetizers on the deck.
