The Bourmault family of Avize (Côte des Blancs) is not a household name for Champagne, but that might be a good thing so we can sell this lovely bottle of wine for less than $50. Hermance is an organic blend of 2/3 Pinot Noir plus Chardonnay and 10% Meunier, all fermented spontaneously. It's a dry, natural, medium-bodied bubbly with notes of red berries, baked pears, earth, flint, brioche, and floral accents. What a fantastic value for the money!
