Snow Maiden is Tozai's Nigori sake, a style known for its milky appearance, full body, and soft off-dry palate resulting from rice solids incorporated in the brew. It opens with melon, fruit, rice pudding, and roasted pumpkin, but develops Shitake mushroom flavors the longer it sits open. Pairs well with super spicy Ramen, Sichuan cuisine, shrimp in lobster sauce, spicy sushi, and pork belly. Serve cool. If you've never tried Sake before, we recommend Nigori as your introduction.
