About twenty years ago, Chile entered the spotlight as a nation that could replicate any grape and sell it for less. Nowadays, there are still large-production wineries making decent quaffers alongside more quality-driven wineries like Vina Maitia. Hailing from French Basque Country, David Marcel has a fresh perspective on Chilean wine. Roto Cabernet is a flawlessly balanced wine with a small percentage of Syrah and Alicante Bouchet fermented in steel with indigenous yeasts and aged in concrete and wood. Smooth tannins, moderate alcohol, and juicy fruit make Roto an excellent Cab for any occasion - and the label is cool, too. We also carry Marcel's Aupa Pipeno cans.
