Hailing from Côtes Catalanes in the Roussillon region of southwest France, Majas Blanc is a blend of Macabeu, Rolle (Vermentino), and Carignan Blanc fermented with indigenous yeasts and lees-aged in concrete vats. The label is plain and non-descript, but this wine is bursting with flavors of peaches, green plums, white flowers, and lots of minerals that pair well with roast chicken, pork, fish, and root veggies. Get a taste of the Pyrenees and Alain & Agnes Carrère's 70-acre estate in the commune of Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes. Unfortunately, we don't know how to pronounce that.
