Abadia da Cova is located in the craggy region of Ribeira Sacra in Galicia, northwestern Spain, just north of Portugal. Among mountains, monasteries, forests, and canyons, there are high-altitude vineyards where Abadia da Cova produces lots of wine from the Mencia grape as well as spirits. Orujo is made from pomace (leftover wine pressings), so No. 2 is similar to unaged marc, grappa, and aguardiente with distinct floral and herbal notes. 90 proof.
